It seriously feels like forever since I've posted anything on here. *guilty grin* I guess myspace is a little addictive! *bows prostrate on floor and begs forgiveness from anyone who actually reads this journal* Lets see.... 3:59 pm	Packing Lets see. Its been forever since I last updated here *gomen nasai* but I've been busy IRL cos I've been working double shifts and now Im leaving tomorrow morning and I havent finished packing everything and I dont think it's all going to fit! So Im wasting more packing time by sitting here typing. 100 things I'd do rather then pack 1. Email 2. Message people 3. Update my journal 4. Swim 5. Walk long distances to friends houses so they can do their tax forms, only to find they dont have the right pin number and we walk home defeated. 6. Play with a dog and a kitten at said friends house *his name is Mac by the way* 7. Unpack suitcase to try and re-pack everything so it fits! 8. Send home a package I've been meaning to. 9. Make lunch for myself 10. Sunbath for a little while till dark clouds send me running for cover 11. Do pointless quizzes 12. Do many pointless quizzes 13. Chexk emails again. 14. Today I got chosen *along with 3 others, Natasha, Lauren, Liesl* to go for the New York interview. *ie to work up north for 6 months* It went well. The General Manager interviewing us was pretty cool. He tried to make me feel at ease. When he asked me to describe my hobbies I told him everything 8hey I hadnt had my coffee yet* so out I babbled about my love of art, poetry, music,drama ect... He jotted everything down. Then I told him all about my family *My Mom a librarian,my Dad in Maritime-electronics, My little bro a certifiable genius,ect* then we moved on to work expectations ect. All in all it was a pretty good interview. Hoepfully he walked away with the impression Im creative, intelligent and love learning more about life *all so very true* *Sigh* So I got off the rest of the day cos the interviews took all morning and Ralph *My F&B manager didnt think there was much point in working for 3 hrs only* I was curious and asked him why only 4 of us were chosen *there were 15 other people on the list* and get this. He told us all he thought we were the hardest working and had the most potential!!! Me, hardworking full of potential!!! YAY!!!!!!!! I was really happy by that cos I have been working really hard but I didnt think anyone was watching! Little did I know.... The nice thing is, even if I dont go up to New York *Home of all culture and history in the US...well not entirely but anyways...* I might get to go to the UK and work/study there! Both places have *from what I've heard* the best theaters in the world and also the best acting schools for t.v and theater!!! Either way I win!!! I've discovered I really really like traveling! 3:40 pm	lets see, today I worked. Got home early cos we not meant to be getting overtime *I got 3 hrs overtime* Im working again on Tuesday which is pretty cool. I have tomorrow off to sleep!!! Im planning on going to the mall though to catch a movie and buy afew books and also to get a pink top to wear for hostessing on Valentine's day! Im gonna be over at the Beach club *hostessing* which is good! I have way more fun over on that side cos everyone tease's each other and we have a good work ethic. I also like the Clubhouse but its not as busy so I get bored easily! Where as at the Beach club Im always doing something so I dont have time to be bored! I definately prefer being busy because you never notice how time flies! And trust me, it does fly! We get out later then the Clubhouse too so not noticing time is a good thing!!!! Hmm, waht else to say?!?! I might go to Karaoke at Long Branch Saloon tonight. I have fun there. I've also made a couple of good friends who can sing!Really really well! And they tell me I've got talent! Hehehe. 4:52 pm	Hey there So sorry for the absence but I've been busy. Last Sunday I went to West Palm beach with Roberet *my manager* and Christeen and Liezle *two of my friends* we went to the Cheesecake factory and had supper there. It was alot of fun cos we talked and joked and just had a blast! Then we went to the Blue Martini *a dance club* and sat and talked some more before us girls went to dance. We left to go home after 1am and Christeen and Liezle fell asleep so Robert and I stayed talking till we got home. Robert told me earlier that Charlene *one of my best friends here* told him the only reason she stayed talking to him was cos she wanted to hook him and me up. I just laughed and changed the subject. Even if its true I like him I dont want to scare him off or start something and I'd have to leave. Besides the fact his one of managers at work....things could get awkward! You are a mermaid. 10:16 pm	WWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEe I went to Disney World on Wednesday and my legs are still aching from it, but a good kinda exercise ache. I had SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!!!! We went to Magic Kingdom and I went on ALL the rides! I got a picture taken of Arial, who is my fav disney princess! I liked Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion the most, but Pirates of the Carribean was also really cool! 11:49 am	Its Friday the Thirteenth! "Hide all your children and lock all the doors Its Friday the Thirteenth Unluckiest day of the year" Hehehe, Yeah, right. Im off today so how is that Unlucky? Im going to read and relax by the pool if the clouds ever clear up....for more then 5 minutes....So when Im done here on the net I'll probably go back to my room and watch my new Tomb Raider dvd and read some of the books I have. And make more of an effort for the book Im trying to write...maybe. I've been thinking about its plot for a long time and maybe Im finally ready to put pen to paper *or rather fingers to keyboard* Im not going to give anything away *especially if little brother, super sleath in training, aka nosy is reading this. I dont want to spoil it....* So when I get home I wanna surprise my mom and let her help me proof read it *- Luke Dont you Dare Tell Her. 4:20 pm	BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!` Hey all, hope everyone had a wonderful Happy New Year! I was working so I only got home after 4am the next day, and was back at work by 8am the same morning *note: 2 hours sleep does not cut it. Ever!* The nice thing is I managed to clock in 89:15 hours for one week! Yes, thats right, for ONE WEEK!!!! I hope I have a good rewarding paycheck at the end of this all. *and that the government doesnt steal it all in taxes!* Right now though, I have a huge giant cold! Its from letting my immune system get run down I suppose so Sean has gone to the shops for me to get me some medication *he's so sweet!* He really is like my big brother! Last night *before my cold got really bad* I went with him to a karaoke bar and he convinced me to sing so I tried it out and even though the music was too loud and the mic was soft, I got told by alot of people I had a really good voice! I was introduced to Jessica *who Sean knows* and she's pretty cool, a little wacky, but definatley cool! Also Eleaze and Jim who are two of her friends, they're very cool! Down to earth and funny. Sean just came back with my medication and he says he's going to give Ralph a call and let him know Im not feeling too great, so I might have tomorrow off as well. *Why? Cruel fate!!!!* I really want the money and I dont want to take off, but the other side is that if I do work I might end up really really sick and have many more off days because of That!!!! *sigh* I cant win can I? 9:51 pm	Why is life so tough? Well Im here again, its funny that I only write in this journal now when Im really tired so all the pressing matters dont seem so important anymore....I've taken 2 Tylenol pm tablets which are meant to help me sleep better tonight. I think they're working cos I feel very very sleepy right now. I know I promised to update you with all my news but I think I'll do that when Im more awake. Right now Im too drained to feel anything much at all! Not hope, or fear or sadness. Not joy or happiness or any emotions. There's just a need to sink into the darkness and keep falling until I hit oblivion. Work is going well. Its very VERY slow though so Im also abit lethergic at work, but always bubbyly and smiley to the customers. The bugs are still biting me which sux but I cant do anything more then I already am. My birthday was nice. I enjoyed it even though I worked a double. The Christmas party was good too. I danced alot. Everyone looked so pretty/handsome. I'll update tomorrow some time I hope.
